Diosdado Cabello: What Iran has done is an act of courage and dignity

This Thursday, June 19, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that Iran's actions are an act of courage and dignity in the face of its legitimate right to defense against Israeli attacks.

“Iran, in its legitimate right to defense, has given a strong response, which has opened up the world's hopes of achieving peace. While there a scoundrel like Israel..., imperialism will always try to impose its criteria, which is why what Iran has done today is an act of courage and dignity in defense of the right not only of the Iranian People, but also of the Palestinian People and the Peoples of the world,” he said during the Long March against war and for peace in Caracas.

He recalled that Israel has not only attacked Iran, but has also attacked the Peoples of Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.

At the same time, he assured that although many leaders do not say anything about what is happening, “they are happy with what Iran is doing in its territory, they are happy that the genocide of (Benjamin) Netanyahu has been stopped, they are happy because they have said: Enough is enough!”

He emphasized that from a small State geographically like that of Palestine “peace will come out of the world (...) because the answer will be universal and those who support the war will be left wanting”.

In addition, he took the opportunity to question the silence of international organizations in the face of the genocide in Palestine and Israel's attacks against Iran. “These are organisms that don't play any role right now,” he said.
