The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, after exercising his right to vote, assured that the conditions in the country are very clear, “whoever comes must respect the order of our Constitution”.

The statements of the leader of the red awning respond to complaints from international representatives who intended to participate in the observation process without being invited.

He offered his words after exercising his right to vote in El Furrial, Monagas state.

“I may want a lot of people to come, but if I'm not the one who invites, I don't qualify the procedure (...) the CNE (National Electoral Council) invites and certifies the invitation, but since there are people who don't recognize the institutions, there are people who believe that these invitations are made by other bodies, other than the CNE.”

The conditions are very clear, whoever comes to Venezuela must respect the order of our Constitution, they must respect the fact that Venezuela is a free, sovereign, independent country and that those who are not invited simply do not participate in the observation, in the accompaniment of being here in Venezuela to see one of the most beautiful electoral processes in the world.”
