Diosdado Cabello: With Commander Hugo Chávez the time has come for the People

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that it is currently more in force than ever since with Commander Hugo Chávez the time has come for the People.

This is what he said when referring to actions to continue strengthening the Bolivarian Revolution, “listen to the People and to the messages of Commander Chávez.”

“We will be as a more powerful nation to the extent that our people have the power to do, otherwise we will always be a colonized homeland, dependent on models,” he explained.

In that regard, he said that “I sincerely ask my dear brother ministers, and I am a minister, imagine you, deputies, governors, mayors, legislators, councilors, do not try to stop this, here I am going to include myself, we are going to pass over you”.

During his speech, at the Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc, at the Simon Bolivar Convention Center of the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base, he stated that “it is our turn to leave someday, we should take on the task that we are capable of building a true free, sovereign and independent Homeland to hand them over to the youngest, that we do not leave it to them, that they can get on the road paved”.
