Diosdado Cabello: With the victory of the people, peace triumphed in Venezuela

This Tuesday, June 3rd, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that with the victory of May 25 in the regional and legislative elections, peace triumphed throughout the national territory.

“Today we can say, without a doubt, that with the victory of a People voting, with the victory of Arnaldo, here in Mérida, peace and tranquility triumphed throughout Venezuela, as a fundamental element for the development of Peoples,” he said during the swearing in of the elected governor of that entity, Arnaldo Sánchez.

He also emphasized that, despite all the attacks against political parties and the Venezuelan electoral system, there was substantial growth in these elections compared to other processes.

“There was growth in the votes, but also in the attitude of the People and it was one of the hardest blows ever given to fascism, that there are still some strongholds there, because the People go out to vote without fear, demonstrating that it is through votes and not violence,” he said, recalling the great media campaign deployed by those sectors of the extreme right against our people.
