Diosdado Cabello: Youth are the preferred target of those who attack the country

Preparing youth is one of the tasks that political leaders who have been trained in Revolution must undertake, said the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“Youth are the preferred target of those who attack the country on social networks, which are so volatile, lying, manipulative that anyone can invent anything and after that (the lies) is spilled there is no way to pick it up,” Cabello said during the swearing in of the newly elected governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez.

In this regard, he assured that the Bolivarian Revolution, thanks to the actions taken by the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, now guarantees that every student who graduates from high school manages to obtain a place in any of the country's universities.

“Before that was not the case, but any young person can come to believe that this was the case. That was not the case, ask your grandparents and parents to see what it was like here before,” he said, recalling when Commander Chávez called for a large national census, in the country's Plazas Bolívar, to find out how many boys did not have a university seat.

In the same way, Cabello reiterated the call for unity of the Venezuelan people to advance national development, despite attacks from abroad.

In this context, he emphasized that the social benefits provided by the Revolution are given to all Venezuelans regardless of their political tendency or any other assessment.
