Director of Crime Prevention: “My High School, My Safe Zone” Program seeks to promote values in young people

The general director of the Directorate of Crime Prevention (DPD), Lusmialit Perdomo, said that the program My High School, My Safe Zone, promoted by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, seeks to promote values in young people.

During the broadcast of the radio program Sin Truco ni Maña, number 19, Perdomo explained that this plan was born at the initiative of the People's Power and consists of cultural, recreational, sports and prevention talks.

He explained that through the Venezuelan Student Federation, the first visit to an educational center was made to give way to the birth of the program My High School, My Safe Zone, while noting that it is made up of the preventive front, “which are more than 20 institutions and entities attached to the Ministry of the Interior of Justice, such as Civil Protection and Community Police.

“Beyond the classroom, beyond what is included in the education system, which also encounters these activities; safety is promoted within the Lyceum,” he said.
