Dudamel concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic will benefit victims of earthquakes in Venezuela

Orchestra director Gustavo Dudamel announced that on August 23, the Hollywood Bowl, in the United States (USA), will be the stage for A Concert for Venezuela, a charity event that will bring together renowned musicians with the objective of raising funds to support populations affected by the double earthquake recorded on June 24 in the country.

Beck, Eduardo Betancourt, Meme del Real, Jorge Glem, Natalia Lafourcade, Lasso, Moisés Torrealba and Carlos Vives will accompany Dudamel in his last performance as musical and artistic director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The director indicated that the event will allocate resources to humanitarian assistance and the recovery of affected areas, through partnerships with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and CAF-Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.
