Earthquake of magnitude 7.6 was recorded in the Caribbean

The United States Geological Survey reported that this Saturday there was a magnitude 7.6 earthquake in the Caribbean, reports the Sputnik news agency.
According to information from the service, the earthquake was detected 209 kilometers southwest of George Town, Cayman Islands. In addition, he specified that this movement generated a tsunami alert in countries in the region such as Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Panama.
For its part, the National Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration indicated that other countries where the alerts were activated are Jamaica, Cuba and Nicaragua.
