Ecosocialist working class is preparing for the National Constituent Congress

A total of 196 working-class delegates from the ecosocialist sector, elected by the country's 24 states, will participate in the National Constituent Congress of the Working Class.

After formalizing the delivery of their minutes of ballots to the Ministry of Power for the Social Labor Process, they define the participation of spokespersons in the Congress scheduled for December 14, 15 and 16, the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism highlights in a press release.

This activity aims to refound and strengthen the Venezuelan labor movement, through the promotion of a national dialogue, in the case of the ecosocialist working class, it seeks to strengthen the sector in defense not only of Mother Earth, but of the country's sovereignty.

In this regard, Ana Sánchez, main spokesperson, described the call of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to the organization, for the participation of the various social sectors, in the National Constituent Congress of the Working Class.

The workers of the different engines and sectors will have the main task of developing a programmatic agenda linked to the profound transformation of the working class, “to the Productive Plan, engine by engine, sector by sector, and the most important of which is defense and sovereignty,” said Johanna Santéliz, executive secretary of the National Promoting Commission for the Constituent of the Working Class.
