This Friday, Eduardo Piñate, executive secretary of the presidency of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), paid tribute to 208 years since the Battle of San Félix.
From the state of Bolívar, during a parade commemorating this historic battle, the heroic deeds of men and women who gave their lives in this fight against the Spanish Empire stood out.
“We are children of a lineage of liberators, and that's why we came here to honor these soldiers and soldiers who defeated the realist army,” he emphasized.

“We have the offensive and the political initiative, our heroic story written by our liberators to guarantee peace in Venezuela,” he concluded.
