In the march commemorating the 68th anniversary of the overthrow of the Marcos Pérez Jiménez dictatorship, Eduardo Piñate, a member of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), highlighted the people's determination to remain mobilized in defense of their legitimate leadership.

“This people are still fighting, demanding the release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, kidnapped by the United States government,” he emphasized while adding that workers, peasants, indigenous people, students, women, Afro-descendants and communities are participating in this day with patriotic fervor.

The revolutionary leader said: “We are not going to leave the streets until we bring President Maduro and his first lady Cilia Flores back to their homeland.”

I send a message to the head of state, he said: “Our president has strength, firmness and commitment, and here there is a People with him, with the same fighting force and commitment.”
