Educational institutions in the country are in optimal conditions to restart classes

The country's educational institutions are in optimal condition because the Ministry of Education deployed a rehabilitation and preventive maintenance plan in December to adapt the schools, said the Deputy Minister of Facilities and Logistics of the Ministry of People's Power for Education, Willian Gil.

During an interview on the Al Aire program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Gil highlighted that the School Feeding Program (PAE) is guaranteed in all educational institutions in the country, which offers breakfast, lunch and snacks to students as part of the Bolivarian Government's social protection policies.

“Our schools are able to receive all the boys and girls of the Homeland. The entire education subsystem is active today in peace and quiet. Our space for attention to children and young people are schools, it is the safe space offered by the Republic,” he said while recalling that this Monday children, children and adolescents will return to the classrooms to study the second educational period.

In addition, the president of the Foundation for Buildings and Educational Endowments (FEDE), reported that 1,724 educational institutions were rehabilitated in 2025 alone, thanks to resources approved by the constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro.

In the same way, he reported on the construction of 25 new educational works, which were executed in record time, of which 11 will be delivered this week.

In this regard, I point out that these actions are carried out in conjunction with the Bricomiles, the Together Everything Is Possible Corporation, governorates and mayors. In addition, he indicated that with the rehabilitation, a process of providing equipment is also carried out that includes various equipment such as desks, chairs, desks, as well as refrigerators, freezers and cookers to strengthen the PAE.

On the other hand, he reported on the delivery of more than one million school uniforms to students who are in a vulnerable situation, as part of the right to free and quality education. “Our education is not only free, but also of high quality,” he concluded.
