Elvis Amoroso: The European Union is already in the country to accompany the 28-J electoral process

Representatives of the European Union arrived in the country to participate as companions in the electoral process on June 28, said the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso.

During a press conference held this Monday, Amoroso highlighted that with the visit of this delegation to the country he will be able to verify the efficiency and transparency of our electoral system.

“This is an institution that has been permanently misinformed. We, from the CNE, are going to present to you tomorrow all the operation that is being carried out, in addition to the list of candidates who have registered,” he said, while stating that this will disassemble the matrix of opinion that has been tried to impose on the impossibility of any candidate to run.

In this regard, he reiterated that 13 candidates were running for the electoral process by the opposition forces.
