Emergency care agencies activate second phase of Plan Llovizna in Aragua

Officials from the different rescue groups in the state of Aragua initiated the second phase of the Rain Plan in Henri Pittier Park, specifically in the Corral de Piedra sector, where 10,000 liters of water were discharged.

The operation was led by Governor Karina Carpio, who explained that 64 officials are deployed at Henri Pittier, doing their best to mitigate fire and preserve the ecosystem in this important natural reservoir.

“Officials are in an organized, articulated and planned manner carrying out the maneuvers to prevent the flames from continuing to burn the vegetable lung of Maracay, and so far they have carried out 12 discharges of 750 liters of water. Seeing these men in full action, mitigating the fire, lets us know how big their hearts are, and for that I applaud them, they risk their lives to save our plant lungs,” he said.
