Estudiantes de Mérida beat Monagas SC 3-2, in a match corresponding to matchday 12 of the 2026 Apertura Tournament.
With this victory, the Merida team reached their ticket to the Final Phase of the Tournament, becoming the fifth place.
Ángelo Peña opened the scoring in the 20th minute, Luis Caicedo scored second at 63' and Kevin Quejada scored the winning goal in 87'.
Fernando Basante scored for Monagas in the 27' and the Ecuadorian Ronald Rodríguez in the 74".
The red and whites join Deportivo La Guaira, UCV FC, Metropolitanos FC and Deportivo Táchira.
