Executive Vice President: Tourism mobilized 93% in the country

This Monday, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, together with other authorities, offered the successful balance sheet of Operation Easter 2024, in which she highlighted that tourism in the country mobilized 93%.

Rodríguez pointed out that religious activity brought about a 38% growth in point-of-sale transactions, representing 22 million 667 thousand 394 economic transactions.

“The response of the entire country has been peace, economic tranquility, taking steps so that all productive engines are positively impacted,” he said.

In this regard, the vice-president praised “the indestructible spirit of the people” who, together with the Bolivarian government, managed to guarantee a safe week with 163,518 deployed officials.

He also announced that in the different cultural, recreational and religious activities during the Major Week, there was 65% mobilization, 10 million 600 thousand people, almost 13% more than in 2023.
