Extension of reception of works extended for the 68th Arturo Michelena Hall

The extension for the reception of works that will participate in the 68th Arturo Michelena Hall was extended until next Friday, July 17, 2026, a measure taken because of the earthquakes recorded last June 24.

The centers responsible for receiving the creations are the Museum of Culture of Carabobo, the Mario Abreu Museum of Contemporary Art in Maracay, the National Art Gallery in Caracas and the Barquisimeto Museum in the state of Lara.

Artists interested in participating in the 68th edition of the Arturo Michelena Hall can also submit their works to the Art Center of Maracaibo Lía Bermúdez in the state of Zulia, the Los Llanos Museum in Barinas, the Colonial Art Museum in Mérida and the Dungeon Museum in the state of Guárico.

For their part, the other authorized reception centers are: the Jesús Soto Museum of Modern Art in Bolívar, the Pedro Báez Art Gallery in Anzoátegui, the Casa de la Cultura Prof. Inicita Aceituno in Monagas, the Antonio José de Sucre Museum “Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho” in Sucre, the Museum of Visual Arts and Space in Táchira, and the Red Art Foundation in Delta Amacuro.

The commission recalled that running for this edition of the Arturo Michelena Hall means performing on the most emblematic stage for national talent. In the same way, he reiterated that it represents an opportunity to be selected and to exhibit the work in one of the most successful and prestigious exhibitions in our country.
