Falcón absolute champion of the National Under-15 and Under-17 Weightlifting Championships in Lara

The state of Falcón was proclaimed absolute champion of the Under-15 and Under-17 National Weightlifting Championships by dominating the points table in all team categories in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara.

The Falconians won with 568 points in the men's under-15 category, followed by Apure with 439 and Guárico with 315, according to the Ministry of Sports press.

The Portuguese Cristian Echeverría dominated the 56 kg with 195 kg in total, while the Falconian José Miguel Hernández took the honors in the 60 kg with 242 kg.

The Falconian Osneiber Pirona was also at the top of the 65 kg podium, totaling 225 kg, while the Guariqueño Julián Mota won the 71 kg division with 218 kg. Cristian Bárcena from Monagas state won 79 kg with 233 kg.

In the heavy divisions, Carlos Guerrero took over the 88 kg division with 193 kg and Larense Arsen Quintero won with 137 kg in the 94 kg division.

In addition, Falcón repeated the lead with 564 points in the men's under-17 category, once again beating Apure, who scored 477 points, and Caracas with 465 points.

Thaylor Fernández from Caracas won the 56 kg gold with 213 kg in total, while in the 60 kg division the Falconian José Miguel Hernández won the gold medal with a total of 242 kg.

In the same way, Alis Beroes from Caracas won 65 kg with 265 kg, Luis García from Monagua achieved 275 kg in the 71 kg division, and Alexander Mota, representative of the Guárico state, won 79 kg by obtaining 303 kg in the sum.

Carlos Guanare also from Monagua won the 88 kg category with 312 kg, while the Falconi Johan Campos reached 285 kg in the 94 kg division, with Gerrimy Rojas from Caracas completing the list in +94 kg with 255 kg.

For his part, in the women's division of the under-15 category, Falcón controlled the table with 585 points, accompanied by Caracas with 528 points and Miranda with 436 points.

The champions by division were the Falconian Jessimar Hernández in the 44 kg with 134 kg in total; the Monaguense Valeria Osorio in the 48 kg with a total of 144 kg; the also Falconian Oriannis Pirona in the 53 kg with a total of 167 kg; and the Zulian Elizabeth Cuen in 58 kg with a total of 159 kg.

They were joined in the under-15 category by Zuliana Franlys Gutiérrez in 63 kg with a total record of 195 kg; Leia Duarte from Caracas in 69 kg with 185 kg in the sum; Mirandina Nadia Caraballo in 77 kg with 170 kg; and Falconian Zurimar Gutiérrez closed in +77 kg with 166 kg.

In the same way, the Falconians prevailed in the women's under-17 category, where the entity recorded 532 points, ahead of Miranda with 485 and Monagas with 409.

Jessimar Hernández de Falcón won the 44 kg with a total of 134 kg in the sum, and the Guaire World Cup player Enderlin Ulacio won the 48 kg with a record of 172 kg.

The Carabobeña Arianye Echandia won the 53 kg division with 183 kg, Ivanis Silva from Caracas won 58 kg with a total mark of 190 kg, and the Zulian Franlys Gutierrez won the gold in 63 kg with 195 kg.

The Yaracuyan Esmeralda Herrera conquered 69 kg with a total of 199 kg, Yeliannis Reina de La Guaira in 77 kg with 172 kg, and the Mirandina Bárbara Mendoza in +77 kg with 228 kg.
