In an environment of deep spirituality, the Carirubana municipality of Falcón state celebrated the traditional procession of the Nazarene of Saint Paul. The religious ceremony began with a solemn Eucharist at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Coromoto in Punto Fijo, from where thousands of devotees set out on a journey to fulfill their promises and express their devotion on this Holy Wednesday.
The activity was accompanied by the governor of the entity, Víctor Clark, and the mayor of the jurisdiction, Luis Manuel Piña. Both authorities joined the Paraguan congregation in a walk that, beyond the liturgy, was consolidated as a space for citizen encounter to pray for the unity, social peace and reconciliation of all the Venezuelan people.
Along the way, the regional president stressed that this massive manifestation of faith is a reflection of a Venezuela that remains united through its roots.
Clark emphasized that strengthening traditions and spiritual values is fundamental to collective well-being, highlighting the citizenship and dedication of the attendees throughout the day.
For their part, the testimonies of those present reaffirmed the emotional impact of the celebration. Johana Colmenares, who attended the procession, stressed that this event symbolizes surrender and unconditional love, values that, in her opinion, define a life based on the Christian faith and that inspire the community to move forward with hope.
