Two aircraft that entered Venezuelan airspace without authorization and with the transponder turned off were disabled, after being declared a target of execution.

‎La information was released by the Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB ), GJ. Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that in accordance with the Law of Control for the Integral Aerospace Defense of Venezuelan Airspace and within the framework of the Regional Treaty on Air Interoperability between Latin American Countries, the ships were declared the target of operational execution of the takeoff of two fighter interceptor combat aircraft and added that the incident occurred in the state of Apure.

‎ “Venezuela is a land of peace, we will not allow the violation of our national sovereignty,” said Hernández.
