The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), GJ. According to information issued by the senior military officer, the procedure was carried out in the state of Apure, where “the military force received information from this aircraft that came from the Caribbean Islands without a flight plan, in addition, with the communications suppressed”.
“When she headed through southern Venezuela and illegally entered the territory, she was detected and declared as a target of interest and a hostile vector. It landed on an unauthorized border runway in the Rómulo Gallegos municipality of Apure state and was immediately immobilized,” he said.
