Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), including the El Manteco Citizen Service Post, in the state of Bolívar, were able to seize more than 4,000 liters of fuel.

According to information published on the Instagram account of the entity's Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), three citizens were arrested during the procedure for being involved in the “irregular transportation of fuel”.

In this regard, it became known that the procedure occurred during a routine inspection, when uniformed personnel seized a total of 4,400 liters of gasoline distributed in 160 plastic bags and two drums hidden inside two vehicles.

“The detainees were traveling from the town of San Félix to El Manteco. The procedure, together with the evidence and the subjects involved, was placed at the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the corresponding legal actions,” the GNB reported.
