Film “Ali Primera” wins Best Feature Film at Valencia 2025

The film “Ali Primera”, directed by Daniel Yegres and produced by the Gran Misión Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida and Humana Cine, was awarded the Best Fiction Feature Film Award at the third edition of the Valencia Independent Film Festival 2025.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Audiovisual Culture of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, Sergio Arria, through his social networks.
The prize won in Valencia is in addition to a series of important awards that “Ali Primera” has won, reaffirming its impact on the international film scene. His previous awards include the Audience Award and the Youth Award at the Bordeaux Latin American Film Festival, France.
It was also awarded Best Latin Film at the Latino & Native American Film Festival (LANAFF) and received the Roque Dalton Award at the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana.
The film pays homage to the life and work of the iconic Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ali Primera, highlighting his legacy in Venezuelan popular music. This recognition underlines the artistic quality and deep commitment of its creators to this moving biographical representation, which invites the public to reflect on the relevance of collective memory.
