Fire leaves at least 43 dead in the capital of Bangladesh

On Thursday night, 43 people died because a fire destroyed a building in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

In this regard, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Samanta Lal Sen, in an interview with Xinhua, indicated that the deaths have been confirmed while detailing that 33 bodies were taken to the Dhaka Medical University Hospital and another 10 were transferred to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Plastic Surgery and Burns in the country's capital.

For his part, Anwarul Islam, inspector of the Fire and Civil Defense Service Headquarters in Dhaka, reported that 75 people were rescued and that the competent agencies are still in place where the cause of the fire is still unknown.
