Mission took place in the Portuguese state,
according to information published in the newspaper Últimas Noticias (UN).
According to the publication, this day benefits 400
new patients with cataracts who will be operated on at the Baraure Comprehensive
Diagnostic Center (CDI) in Araure.
“Patients who had visual difficulties will be able to be
surgically cured,” said the entity's first lady, María Gabriela Gil de Cedeño.
In this regard, he pointed out that the day is being carried out in
conjunction with the regional program One Surgery for All, and involves 40
patients who underwent surgery on the first day.
He specified that surgical
solutions will be provided to cases of cataracts throughout the week and announced that “the implantation of pacemakers assigned
to Portuguese patients
by the Ministry of Health” will also be carried out.
