First edition of Manos Creadora Falconianas began at the Centro Histórico de Coro

The first edition of Manos Creadora Falconianas kicked off in the historic center of Coro, Falcón state, with an exhibition and cultural meeting space that seeks to promote and make visible the artisanal talent of the region.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the initiative, promoted by the Red Art Foundation, takes place at the headquarters of the Falcón Art Network, Casa del Sol, and will be available every month to show the work of the entity's cultors and artisans.

This first edition presents the Workshop for the Creation of Traditional Rag Dolls from the state of Falcón, given by master artisans Carmen Toyo and Neida Hernández, as well as a technical demonstration in clay by the craftsman Álvaro Mora.

The space also offers local handicrafts, unique pieces made by the creators themselves and Creole confectionery, together with workshops and demonstrations that allow the public to learn directly about the techniques and knowledge of Falconian master craftsmen.
