First Valid National Olympic Shooting Day 2026 begins this Friday, February 20 in Carabobo

A total of 60 athletes from different states of the country in the youth and adult categories will participate in the first National Olympic Shooting Valid 2026, which will take place from Friday, February 20 to Sunday, February 22 at the National Olympic Shooting Center, Shooting Range in Valencia, Carabobo.
The Valida will be attended by representatives from the states of Caracas, Carabobo, Falcón, Lara, Miranda and Yaracuy, according to the press release of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.
The tournament will include pistol and air rifle tests at ten meters in the women's and men's individual modalities, as well as team and mixed, Olympic specialties that are based on the precision, concentration and technique of the shooter.
Starting this Thursday, free practice and team control are held, while the competitions start on Friday from two in the afternoon with air gun tests by mixed teams.
On the second day of the contest, it will be the turn of the individual air gun and air rifle modality for mixed teams and then close with the air rifle finals.
