Food Minister meets with the CLAP of Aragua to support Nicolás Maduro's candidacy

The Minister of Popular Power for Food, M/G Carlos Leal Tellería, visited the state of Aragua and met with members of the Local Food and Production Committees (CLAP) who expressed their support for Nicolás Maduro on the eve of his eighth anniversary.

The head of the ministerial portfolio recognized the progress of the food distribution process in the territory, stressing that it has been possible thanks to the perfect articulation of the CLAP and the 1x10 of Good Governance.

The regional president, Karina Carpio, said that since the state of Aragua, the cradle of the revolution, a food care plan has been implemented through the 1×10 of Good Governance and in perfect coordination with the national, regional and municipal governments and the organized people.

Cited in a press release from the Food Office, Carpio said that vulnerable families have been served since the fairs in the sovereign countryside, the distribution of CLAP bags, the attention from the food houses and the Plan Amor en Acción days, vulnerable families are being served, in the same way she expanded support for the next presidential elections.

For his part, the territorial director of the ministry, José Diego Castillo, supported President Nicolás Maduro's great effort to prioritize communities and thus continue offering concrete and immediate answers to vulnerable families in the region.
