In this regard, in the statement, presented by Mayor Dilcia Rojas, they expressed their rejection of violence and the destabilization of the country by sectors of the Venezuelan right.
“This July 28, those irresponsible elites want to impose their destabilization agenda on the same pattern that always ends (...) they want to lead the country to violence again (...) for these reasons, after long days of consultation (...) we decided to break with this disastrous way of doing politics (...) today we are committed to declaring ourselves independent and supporting the Nicolás Maduro Moros candidacy,” they said.
