Foreign Minister Gil highlights Venezuela's historic resistance to imperial attacks in New York

On the sidelines of the 80th session of the General Assembly
of the United Nations (UN), which is being held in New York, the United
States (USA), the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Yván Gil, participated this Friday in an outstanding event in defense of peace,
together with the president of the Simon Bolivar Institute, Blanca Eekhout, and solidarity movements with Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua and
Palestine.
Through his Telegram channel, Gil explained that the
Bolivarian delegation highlighted “the historical resistance and truth of the Venezuelan people in the
face of imperialist attacks, military escalations and
fabricated media narratives that threaten the stability of our entire Caribbean region.”
Also, during the meeting, they reaffirmed that “the
liberation of the Palestinian People represents the liberation of all the peoples
of the world, and that Venezuela maintains its firm support for Palestine and for the cause of
liberation and sovereignty of all of Latin America.”
Finally, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, he thanked
“the constant international solidarity with the Venezuelan people, their
legitimate cause, the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace and our efforts for
sovereignty, integration and a multipolar world.”
