The Minister of Popular
Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Friday
with the Brazilian ambassador to Venezuela, Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, to
reaffirm the mutual commitment to strengthening the bilateral agenda, following the brutal
attack perpetrated by the United States (USA) against Venezuelan territory.
“We appreciate the
firm position of President Lula da Silva and the Government of Brazil demanding
respect for international law and the UN Charter, as well as their condemnation of
the violation of the territorial sovereignty of Venezuela in a military aggression
that took the lives of more than a hundred civilians and soldiers, and which
also led to the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the First Lady, Cilia Flores,” he said.
Gil on his Telegram channel.
He added that, during
this meeting, they also agreed on the objective of promoting new
projects and areas of cooperation that benefit our peoples in 2026.
