The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Friday with the Brazilian ambassador to Venezuela, Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, to reaffirm the mutual commitment to strengthening the bilateral agenda, following the brutal attack perpetrated by the United States (USA) against Venezuelan territory.

“We appreciate the firm position of President Lula da Silva and the Government of Brazil demanding respect for international law and the UN Charter, as well as their condemnation of the violation of the territorial sovereignty of Venezuela in a military aggression that took the lives of more than a hundred civilians and soldiers, and which also led to the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the First Lady, Cilia Flores,” he said. Gil on his Telegram channel.

He added that, during this meeting, they also agreed on the objective of promoting new projects and areas of cooperation that benefit our peoples in 2026.
