Foreign Minister Gil renews Venezuela's commitment to public health on World Health Day

When World Health Day was celebrated this Tuesday, April 7,
the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, ratified the
commitment of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to public health.
“On World Health Day, which commemorates the anniversary
of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO), we renew our
commitment to public health as a fundamental right and a common good that
all of us must protect and guarantee,” said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister
in a message posted on his social networks.
He stressed that, on this date, the Bolivarian Government also stresses
“the importance of international cooperation and solidarity, highlighting the
valuable example of Cuba, which has shared medicines, scientific advances and health
professionals with the entire world.”
