The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, thanked his counterpart from Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, for the solidarity expressed by his counterpart from Cuba, in the face of the attacks perpetrated against the Venezuelan Embassy in Bolivia by factors allied to fascism.
“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we express our gratitude to the brother foreign minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, for his firm solidarity in the face of the fascist acts perpetrated against our diplomatic headquarters in La Paz, Bolivia,” Gil wrote on his social networks.
In this regard, he valued the Cuban Foreign Minister's energetic rejection “of this new attack, which adds to the growing wave of fascism that we have witnessed recently. Venezuela will triumph!” , he emphasized.
This Sunday, Bolivian authorities reported that unknown persons fired several shots at the Venezuelan diplomatic headquarters in the morning hours, causing damage to some elements of the façade.
