Foreign Minister of Nicaragua highlighted the work of the Venezuelan people and government to face sanctions

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada, stated that the union of sovereign peoples will overcome the common struggle against imperial aggressions, during the XXVI Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).

Foreign Minister Moncada, from New York City, United States, highlighted the work of the Venezuelan people and the National Government to face imperial sanctions and blockades; in turn, he highlighted his country's support in sovereignty, defense and self-determination.

Thus, he recalled that since the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro they continue to face “we live in times of crisis, yet we are moving forward in the multipolar world, demonstrating that peoples no longer accept the center of power that said the destiny of humanity”.

“Our voices and hearts rise to shout: We are one people defending peace, self-determination, sovereignty, dignity and the right to demand respect for our nations,” he said

He also rejected the false accusations against Venezuela, which seek to tarnish the fight against its self-determination and dignity.
