The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, met this Wednesday, in his office, with the Mexican ambassador accredited in Caracas, Leopoldo de Gyves, and they discussed issues related to bilateral relations.

“It was a pleasure to receive the Mexican ambassador to Venezuela, Leopoldo de Gyves, with whom we spoke about the political, diplomatic and commercial alliances that unite our countries,” wrote the Foreign Minister in his account on the X @yvangil network.

Venezuela and Mexico continue to strengthen their strategic alliances. On January 23, senior representatives of Petrleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) and Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) signed a memorandum of understanding to formally begin bilateral cooperation in energy matters.

Both nations are currently working together to promote political dialogue, trade and bilateral relations in all spheres, in compliance with plans to strengthen peace diplomacy, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro.
