Foreign Minister Yván Gil participated in a virtual CELAC meeting convened by Honduras

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported that this Tuesday, April 9, he participated via videoconference in a meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), convened by Honduras, the current pro tempore president of the organization.

Gil, through his account on the social network X, said that during the virtual meeting “we unanimously condemn the violation of Mexico's sovereignty in the assault on its embassy and the kidnapping of the former vice-president of Ecuador, Jorge Glas.”
