Foreign Minister Yván Gil receives the new Secretary General of CLAD to promote regional exchange

The Minister of Popular
Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, met this Monday with the
new Secretary General of the Latin American Center for Management for
Development (CLAD), Conrado Ramus Larraburu, to evaluate the areas of cooperation between the two institutions.
During the
meeting, held in the Chancellor's office in Caracas, they discussed “
the relevance of continuing to promote the activities of this center in order to strengthen public institutions and promote the exchange
of
knowledge between countries in the region”, Gil through his account on the social network X.
The meeting was
also attended by the Vice President of Planning of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Ricardo Menéndez, “who provided his vision and experience in the field
of strategic planning,” added the Foreign Minister.
The CLAD is an international public
body, of an intergovernmental nature, which
was established in 1972 at the initiative of the governments of Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.
It is made up of 24 Latin American countries, in addition to Spain, Portugal,
Andorra, Angola and Equatorial Guinea as an observer member.
