The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, rejected this Saturday the statements of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry that seeks to join the threats against the sovereignty of Venezuela.

“From Venezuela, we firmly reject the statement of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, which, contrary to the opinion of its own people, adds to the threat against our sovereignty, lending itself in a vulgar and extravagant way to attack Venezuelan democracy with forced and manipulated arguments, assuming themselves as judges in the international arena,” he said through his Telegram channel.

In that regard, he reaffirmed that Venezuela does not admit the “illegal and immoral interventionism of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry in the internal life of a strong and participatory democracy like ours”.

In addition, he denounced “the silent attempt to justify the military aggression of the U.S. empire against Venezuela with absolutely cowardly arguments.”
