The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, held a meeting with his Colombian counterpart, Rosa Yolanda Villavicenc, where they discussed migration, border integration, and the recent interventionist actions of the United States in the region.

“The meeting with the Foreign Minister of Colombia, Rosa Villavicencio, in Bogotá during the Summit of Amazonian Countries was a crucial opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation, highlighting the importance of the newly established binational zone to promote economic development and social integration between our nations, as well as to discuss the regional geopolitical situation in the face of threats, stressing the need to maintain stability, security and collaboration in the region to guarantee the peace of our peoples,” Gil wrote on his Telegram account.
