Foreign ministers of Venezuela and Bolivia strengthen alliance in the face of current international challenges

The Foreign Minister of
the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, met this Friday with his
counterpart from the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Celinda Sosa Lunda, who
is visiting Caracas to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two governments.
The information
was released by the Venezuelan diplomat through his account on the social network
X, where he noted that the Bolivian official plans to strengthen the
exchange in “key areas of energy cooperation and consolidate the bonds of
fraternity between our nations in the face of current challenges in the international arena.”
He stressed that “
Chancellor Sosa is an outstanding figure in the context of the multipolar world that we are building”.
The Minister of
Foreign Affairs of the Andean nation began her work schedule in the
Venezuelan capital with a wreath before the sarcophagus of the Liberator Simon
Bolivar, in the National Pantheon, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs for Latin America, Rander Peña; the Bolivian ambassador to Venezuela, Sebastián Michel and other representatives of the Bolivian diplomatic corps accredited to the
country.
Sosa arrived in
Venezuela this Thursday, after visiting Nicaragua and Cuba, as part of the tour to
strengthen relations in the context of People's Diplomacy for Life.
