Foreign ministers of Venezuela and Türkiye discuss the serious and dangerous situation in the Middle East

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, held a telephone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, to discuss the serious and dangerous situation in the Middle East.

“I transmitted a message from President Nicolas Maduro Moros to his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,” Gil said in a post on his Telegram channel.

Gil took advantage of the conversation to reaffirm Venezuela's firm position in favor of a diplomatic solution, based on the Charter of the United Nations, that would allow the immediate cessation of hostilities against Iran and restore peace in the region.

“We salute the leadership of President Erdoğan and agree to keep in touch to accompany efforts for stability,” he said.
