The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved a Draft Agreement in rejection of the decision of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, which on September 11, asked the president of his government to ignore the re-election of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.

In the regular session held, this Tuesday, September 17, at the Federal Legislative Palace, the person in charge of presenting this project was Deputy Roy Daza, member of the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy of the AN.

On this point, Daza stated that “they are ignoring the sovereign will of all the people who legitimately elected Nicolás Maduro as President.”

Daza , on behalf of the Commission, proceeded to read the draft from the speaker's gallery at the session of the National Assembly.

The first point states: To categorically reject the disastrous resolution promoted by the fascist right wing of the Congress of Deputies of Spain, as well as to urge them to respect the decisions of the Venezuelan people who elected citizen Nicolás Maduro Moros as the re-elected President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in a sovereign manner.

The second is: To urge the National Executive to evaluate at a peremptory time the rupture of diplomatic and commercial relations with the Kingdom of Spain, as a reciprocal action for the rude and interventionist proposal adopted by the Congress of Deputies of Spain against Venezuelan institutions.

The third point: publish the Agreement in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and give it maximum publicity.
