Former candidate Luis Martinez bets on peace and recognizes the results issued by the CNE

The candidate for Democratic Action, Luis Eduardo Martínez, recognized the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE) and assured that there is nothing more important for Venezuela than Peace.

“Peace in Venezuela begins with the recognition of the official results of the presidential election announced by the CNE that proclaim President Nicolas Maduro re-elected,” Martinez said, through a post on his account on the social network X.

He stressed that the presidential elections of July 28, a day marked by citizenship. “May the days to come be so and may we prepare to forge together the best tomorrow for all,” he added.

“I believe in dialogue, reconciliation, understanding, consensus. We woke up hugging each other and burying so many hatreds and fights,” he said.

He also thanked those who voted for him and the leadership of Democratic Action, COPEI, the Republican Movement, the Red Flag, the National Electoral Union and the Popular Democratic Right who supported his candidacy.
