Four municipalities in Trujillo affected by heavy rains and river floods

The governor of the state of Trujillo, Gerardo Márquez, reported that, with the help of emergency services, they have managed to control most of the damage caused by heavy
rains in the state.
He explained that the rains that have fallen since Monday night and during this Tuesday caused situations that occurred in four municipalities in the state of Trujillo, which are being addressed by the Andes 2025 Task Force.
In a contact through Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he noted that the municipalities most affected are Boconó and Juan Vicente Campo Elías, where security and prevention agencies are still deployed responding to emergencies caused by rainfall.
“Since last night when the events occurred, we have been in contact with our president Nicolás Maduro, we have had conversations with the Minister of Interior, Diosdado Cabello, we have had conversations with the vice-president of the Republic and we have deployed, with the support of the national and regional governments and the Bolivarian mayor's office of Boconó, the Andes 2025 Task Force, and we are already in fully controlled emergency situations,” he explained.
He announced that starting tomorrow “we will be on all fronts of work with the emergency cabinet of the Trujillo governorate.”
