Four people sentenced to 30 years in prison for sabotaging the SEN

Four people were sentenced to 30 years in prison for participating in sabotage against the National Electric System (SEN).
The conviction was issued this Wednesday by the 3rd Court of First Instance in Judicial Functions with national jurisdiction, in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law against Organized Crime and the Financing of Terrorism.
Those involved were identified as Freddy Llovera, Pedro Rodríguez, Wilfredo Martínez and Brayan González, who are guilty of the events that occurred in the Transmission Tower No. 19, 20 and 21 400Kva of the Tigre I Anzoátegui-Sucre Line, where they committed the theft of iron profiles and bases, according to a press release from the Ministry for Electric Energy replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).
Those involved were convicted of the crimes of terrorism, criminal association and illegal trade in strategic materials.
In the middle of this year, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, asked the Attorney General's Office to apply the full weight of the law to those who attack the SEN.
