Fourteen states activated the qualifying phase of the 2026 Robotics Olympiad

The Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, reported from her Telegram account that this week the State Qualification Stage of the Creative Robotics Olympics 2026 began , a meeting that brings together thousands of young talents who are transforming ideas into solutions and dreams into technological innovation.

He indicated that the deployment covers 14 states: Trujillo, Táchira, Mérida, Bolívar, Falcón, Cojedes, Anzoátegui, Aragua, Sucre, Carabobo, Caracas, Miranda, Delta Amacuro and Lara, where activities are being carried out that promote ingenuity and scientific training throughout the country.

He noted that hundreds of projects and working groups are moving forward with the participation of the Genial Generation, addressing issues related to climate change, good living and productivity, with proposals aimed at strengthening technological capacities and solutions for various areas.

He recalled the words of President (E) Delcy Rodríguez, who stressed that this generation builds the future and contributes to a productive, sovereign and prosperous Venezuela.

The minister said that creativity is under way and that the country continues to consolidate spaces for scientific development and student participation.
