The girl Fraidelym Monzón became the first girl from Caracas to be born in 2026, in the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital, located on the main avenue of San Martín.
“The baby arrived in the world at exactly 12:00am, filling with hope at the beginning of this new year,” said the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutierrez, in a post on her Telegram channel.
In the publication, the Minister explained that Fraidelim Dominguez Monzón weighed 3 kilograms, with a size of 53 centimeters, his mother Daylin Monzon and his part Francisco Dominguez.
“This birth is a symbol of life and the efficiency of our National Public Health System,” said Gutierrez.
He also expressed his deep gratitude and recognition to all the medical staff, nurses and on-call workers of the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital, who with love and absolute dedication are present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to protect our Venezuelan people, even during times of celebration.
“Health is our priority! Congratulations to the new parents!” , Gutierrez added.
