Freddy Ñáñez denounces AlbertoRodNews' new “mercenary journalism” hoax

The sector vice president of Communication, Tourism and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, reported this Tuesday a new fake news promoted by the AlbertoRodNews portal, in which they distort the statements of the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, during her participation in the New Regional Financial Architecture seminar, which was held in Bolivia.

Through his account on the social network X, Ñáñez stated that the aforementioned portal “has been responsible for manipulating information, like all Mayamero longliners, in its level of desperation and attempt to attract attention”.

“We could hold a mercenary journalism contest and AlbertoRodNews would always win a statuette,” added the minister of People's Power for Communication and Information, posting the media's false information disseminated on the digital network.

Ñáñez pointed out that, in her speech, the Venezuelan Vice President “criticized sanctions in all their variants. Despite this, @AlbertoRodNews invents a quote with the crudest technique of distortion: he takes out some words with tweezers and to adorn the hoax he puts quotation marks”.

In another message, he shared the extract of Rodríguez's statements and highlighted that the arrogance of the digital medium “makes him believe that he writes for an ignorant, passive mass unable to investigate or go to the source.”
