The Sectorial Vice President of Communication and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, stated that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) promoted a subsidiary war against Russia with the purpose of containing the development of new powers that are shaping a new model of world order.
During his speech at the discussion “New Communication Challenges of the 21st Century” that takes place at the José Encarnación “Pachencho” Romero Olympic Stadium in the Maracaibo municipality, in the state of Zulia, Ñáñez pointed out that the conflict was established in Ukraine as a strategic pretext used by Western powers, led by the United States, to stop the advance of countries that have consolidated a new scheme of international relations.
He also stressed that the confrontation that Russia is holding not only responds to the current geopolitical dynamic, but is also part of a historic struggle against Nazism, which, he said, is still present in certain European elites. “We are celebrating 80 years since the Soviet Army freed humanity from Nazism, a phenomenon that was originally supported and subsidized by Western elites,” he said.
Ñáñez warned that the conflict has evolved into a scenario of economic and tariff war, which shows the persistence of a strategy to undermine the development of these new powers in the global context.
