“Fuck off!” : Danish MEP responds to Trump about interest in Greenland

Faced with the insistent interest of the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, in buying Greenland, the Danish MEP, Anders Vistisen, described the magnate's intentions as “an absolute necessity”.

“Mr. Trump, go to hell,” said the European legislator, telling Trump that the territory of Greenland is not for sale and has always been part of Denmark.

“Dear President Trump, listen very carefully. Greenland has been part of the Danish kingdom for 800 years. It is an integrated part of our country. It's not for sale,” Vistisen emphasized.

Greenland, the largest island in the world with 57,000 inhabitants, is at the center of a geopolitical storm following the statements of the newly inaugurated North American president, who also insinuated that he could consider using military force to achieve his objective.
